How to Play
Rugby is played across the World. In Australia, England, France, New Zealand, South Africa, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and a number of other nations, the sport of Rugby Union is played in a 3-4-3 formation on a rectangular field with a penalty goal at each end. The scoring system is based on a combination of tries, kicks, penalties, and goals.
The game begins with the ball at the back of the field, and the teams are allowed to move the ball around the field via multiple methods. The first method is the hand-off, where the ball is passed between two players, one from each team. Next, the ball is placed on the ground and kicked. The next method is the scrum, where two teams line up along the touchline and the scrum ring is formed. The ring is formed by having each player grab a teammate in the scrum ring and lifting them off the ground. When the scrum ring is formed, each player is allowed to push his opponent out of the ring and off the field.
